We had over 75 people on our NorthStar Relay for Life team and raised over $11,000 to help fight against cancer!! We helped to build the Acworth Special Needs Playground We provided and served breakfast for over 40 shelter guests and community service volunteers at MUST Ministries. We manned the concession stand for the Senior Night Baseball Game at Kennesaw Mountain High School. We provided inflatables and volunteers for Kennesaw Mountain Honor's Day and Spring Fling. We cooked steaks and provided desserts for Lost Mountain Middle School Staff Appreciation. We delivered cinnamon rolls and drinks to the staffs at Hayes, Big Shanty, Due West, Shelton, Ford, Frey, Bullard, Kennesaw, Lewis, Vaughn, McCall, Acworth, and Baker elementaries. We manned the concession stand for the Senior Night baseball game at North Cobb High School. We help to provide volunteers for An Evening Out for Special Needs Parents. We provided volunteers to work the hospitality booth at the Big Shanty Festival. We provided volunteers to serve breakfast to the vendors at the Big Shanty Festival. We provided volunteers to help coordinate the Big Shanty Festival parade in down town Kennesaw. March We collected socks and underwear for Pride for Parents-an inner city ministry. We provided and served dinner for the 4th and 5th grade parents at Hayes Elementary for a meeting to help parents learn about middle school life. Over 300 people signed up to come!! February We provided cookies and drinks for the Special Needs Dance at KMHS as well as helped to decorate for the dance. We also fed the Special Needs Bus Drivers on the day of the dance. Our people were there to help cheer the students on as they arrived and helped to clean up when it was over!! Way to go NorthStar!!! Our college students ran the Hospitality Room for the Regional Basketball Tournament at KMHS. Manned concession stand during the Senior Night Basketball game at Harrison High School so that parents of the seniors could watch their last game.
